The Well, The Vie, The Fam

I’m a day late posting this morning, yesterday I lapsed into a former life. I met up with a previous colleague for breakfast. The splash logs and balloons with clever names to inspire in his office building classic marketing/marketing agency can’t say I miss hectic lifestyle masked by those back drops. but it was fun. I chatted with my friend and former colleague over a bagel and smoothie at an underground mall called The Well of shops and restaurants (a lot like Pince City Market in Atlanta) and it was confirmed. I definitely don’t miss that life! 

After our timeboxed catch-up, I decided to get my nails done. Yes who goes to Canada on vacation and gets a pedicure… the same person that goes to Costa Rica to see a movie! See post! Lol yes got a bright red color the nail tech recommended called “Destruction”. She did a great job! 💅🏾 shop is called Vie!

The rest of the we day spent 45 minutes outside of Toronto in an area called Brampton! Family time; watching soccer; talking, cooking catching up. Nothing beats for story telling, reminiscing, and good food! And we had a spread. It was fish fried escovich style with fried dumplings and cassava and other veggies. My aunt can definitely throw down. We all ate it together on her beautiful deck!

By the end of the night, I was exhausted but ready for a new day in Toronto!
